Borehole Drilling
Kenya has been experiencing recurrent and severe droughts due to climate, with millions of people affected by lack of water and food. Responding to this situation, Dear Diary Initiative Kenya has focused on drilling boreholes across water-stressed regions. This project aims to provide sustainable access to clean and safe water for communities that have long struggled with unreliable water sources.
So far we have drilled a couple of boreholes benefiting thousands of community members in Tana River , Kilifi and Kwale with the assistance of different donors and well-wishers. Our vision is to see a Kenya where every individual get access to clean water meaning we’ve not yet achieve our goal. Therefore, we need your support and donations to achieve our dream of ensuring every Kenyan get to access clean water, hygiene and sanitation. Currently we have ongoing incomplete borehole projects in some parts of Tana River County .
