Street Feeding

Dear Diary Initiatives Kenya have joined hands with different stakeholders and Organization to ensure that those who earns minimum income and often seek shelter on the cold pavements in the Mombasa streets at Night, get access to good meal. This program is executed  in partnership with Marafiki Relief Aid Africa, always run twice a week and we also have plans of extending it to five times a week (work days). These individuals who benefits from street feeding programs are not the street kids famously known as “Chokora”, but are people’s who are  actually working hard but  the wages are so minimal in a way it can’t pay rent and cater for their families needs, for that reason they sacrifice their shelter for the sake of the families and opt to the streets.
